FoodSafe Level 1 is a food handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and deli workers. The course covers important food and worker safety information including food-borne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing. This certificate is valid for five years.Note: FoodSafe Level 1 workbooks are available in English, Chinese, Korean and Punjabi, and the FoodSafe examination is available in many other languages. You must contact your local CMTN campus at least a week in advance if you would like to have your workbook and/or examination in a language other than English.
