Red Cross Emergency Childcare First Aid & CPR

Basic one-day course designed to introduce caregivers to injury prevention skills and knowledge. Course covers lifesaving first aid skills, including choking, airway and breathing emergencies, prevention of disease transmission, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR and AED) for children and babies (Level B.)

Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial early childhood education and day care worker safety requirements.

100% attendance is mandatory. Students more than 15 minutes late are not admitted to class. No refunds will be issued to students who arrive late.

Certification: Successful participants receive certification valid for three years. Certificates are emailed to students from Red Cross.

    The Indigenous Entrepreneurship Micro-Credential is a 75-hour training program designed to address
    the lack of accessible, culturally relevant business education for Indigenous learners in BC. Community consultations identified a strong need for practical, Indigenous-led training to support entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and sustainable business development. The micro-credential consists of five CE courses, each offering 15 hours of instruction and applied learning.
