S-100 Fire Suppression
The Wildfire Act of BC states that anyone working on an industrial activity in the forest within 1 km of a fire must report it and take preventative action. The S-100 Fire Suppression course provides that mandated certification with training that includes fire-line safety, fire behaviour, and water delivery using portable pumps and gravity systems.Note: The S-100 fire suppression designation is valid for five years but S-100 holders are required to take a S-100A refresher course annually to remain certified.
