Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join as the Director, Facilities & Security Services. The salary for this position is $158,949 annually plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

This position takes a lead role in expressing the values and mission of the College throughout the northwest region. The Director is the lead administrator in the planning and execution of all aspects of facilities maintenance at the college as well as ensuring the safety and comfort of residents at the Terrace campus.
Duties: Reporting to the VP Corporate Services, the Director has responsibilities to provide operational leadership and strategic direction in the following areas:
- Facilities & Maintenance Services – Effective planning, construction, and management of college land, buildings, and related equipment at all CMTN campuses. The various duties include overseeing the operations of the maintenance and grounds departments, janitorial contracts, the preparation and management of annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and financial control. The Director participates in policy development and implementation, strategic and operational planning, preventive maintenance program development and implementation and budget development.
- Security – Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of college safety and security programs, ensures compliance with all applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to campus safety and ensuring that day-to-day security, public safety functions, and new initiatives are aligned with the College’s Strategic Plan.
