Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a continuing full-time Junior Cloud & Local Server Administrator commencing as soon as possible. A flexible schedule is required as some evening and weekend work may be necessary as well as some travel between campuses. Salary will be in accordance with the BCGEU Support Staff Scale, Level 12: $2,646.00 biweekly plus a comprehensive benefits plan.

Duties: The Junior Cloud and Local Server Administrator is responsible for supporting and maintaining both cloud-based (Azure) and on-premises server infrastructure, with a focus on administering virtual machines, managing server performance, ensuring security, and supporting hybrid cloud and local server environments. Key responsibilities include file server management, patch management, and administration of Active Directory (AD), Entra (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune for device management. The role also involves scripting for automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration on disaster recovery processes. This position provides an opportunity for professional growth, requiring a diploma in IT, a foundational understanding of Azure services and traditional server administration, and a commitment to professional development.
